    Vista MCE and DIVx

    Hello

Try as I might, I can't get the Media Centre within Vista to play divx. WMP plays the files fine, always has, but try and load them in vista I get a 'a codec was not found' error. i've downloaded the shark vista codec pack and a few other things, but to no avail! help!!

I had the same issue a while back. Uninstall all your codecs and get the latest ffdshow beta. I think its beta3 rev1324.

Just click the download link on this page and you'll be sorted.
