Hi,
Is there a Vista oem packae available giving both 32 and 64 bit options.
I would like to have Vista Business 32 and then the option to go to 64bit in the future.
Thanks
Joe

Nope, but I started on x86 on laptop and moved to x64 and its been fine....crap, but fine.
Ive not had to many issues with x64. The only thing i can't get to work is nero and my lightscribe but as nero doesnt work with vista verywell anyway i'm not going to worry. Just going to buy a new drive i think with a nero that is compatiable
nero works fine with vista - if you get the nero 7 update install which is vista compatible.
This "I've not had many issues with vista" is the most pointless saying used on this forum as what works for one person may well not work for another depending on many factors.
He wasn't even asking for opinions on vista, he was asking about the OEM options.
It is Inevitable.....
Apologies Jasper & ikonia didn't mean to go off topic but thanks for the nero advice ikonia!

Your CD key licence is for the copy, its not locked to 32 bit or 64 bit. If you bought a retail licence microsoft will send you the alternative version for a fee. But it's just a CD - seems pointless when for an OEM licence you can borrow a friends CD and install with your own key, just on a different version. This isn't against the EULA either.
I believe that once its installed on say 32 bit, re-installing with 64 bit is a break in the license.
