I've got Windows Vista Home Basic - I've read that it's limited to 5 concurrent connections at a time... and I've noticed it seriously slowing down my web browsing at times...
If I have 3 tabs open, mp3s from another PC, and then try open another window / tab in a browser it takes ages before it loads the page (it seems to wait for the other pages to finish loading before it'll load - it seems to freeze). It's the same with downloads, I seem to be limited to a maximum of 3 downloads at a time...
Anyone know the fix for this. It's going to do my head in if it's like this for the rest of it's life.
I've read it's a Vista home basic problem (limited to 5 connections), but I've also read it might be something to do with SPI ? and Linksys routers (source: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?...pic=89394&st=0 ) and I have a linksys router.
None of my other PCs have this problem (XP home, XP pro, etc) going through the same router.
Please help!
Josh
