    o.k no body move, i got a copy of windows vista home premium (64bit) and i'm not afi

    but first do i have to install xp first then vista if i want to duel boot ?

    If you got an upgrade disc you'll need to install XP first. Else (full retail or OEM disc) you can do a fresh install.

    Set up seporate partitions, then install XP first on one of the partitions

    XP doesn't have to be installed first but its easier if it is.

    You can use VistaBootPro to re-write the vista bootloader and setup the multi-boot if you ever blast the vista boot loader by installing XP at a later date.
