If there's a sharing of resources or interference between your soundchip and wireless controller, a simple batch file, where the commands have been in Windows all along, isn't what has caused it. Again, it's no 'virus'. It's a command which has been in Windows all along. It isn't even remotely possible for it to change settings on your soundcard, let alone damage it.
On my new system I get a static sort of noise from my ASUS Xonar DX when listening through headphones, but I know it's interference, I think from the CPU or 8pin motherboard power lead, through the case front-panel connector, which has to run past them.
