    itunes on vista 64 bit

hey, i bought an ipod touch and its great lol

when i went to download itunes i found i needed the 64 vershion, this was fine, downloaded well and was no trouble...when i began to install it got about halfway though and started to roll back the action, after it had done this it said it had encounterd a problem and i should retry again later. i have now tryed sevril times and redownloaded it but nothing changes.

if anybody knows what i can do that would be a big help

    thanks

Nothing useful to add personally other than repeating the findings of millions of iPod owners - the hardware's great, iTunes however is - I'm yet to find a word, but "nnnnnngh!" sums it up fairly well. There are alternatives but I'm not sure of the legality of them, so won't be breaking any CoC on here

I binned itunes for mediamonkey as itunes is not compatible with me. Works seamlessly with ipod and i feel much happier with it! Have now binned my ipod as the audio quality left a lot to be desired.

My iTunes works fine! Are you running the installer with Admin privileges? (right click run as Admin)

Regarding the audio quality, did you try using a higher bit rate file? I changed mine from the standard 128 AAC file to 256 MP3's and it's much better. Use it though my separates and it sounds great I like having my whole music collection in one tiny box.
