    Dual screen question

I've got two screens, on one computer, I want to play two different games on each of the screens, I've got the right hardware to do it, whenever I try to do so, it's either one or the other, I cannot have focus on both of the screens.

Is there any way around this?

    Re: Dual screen question

as far as i know windows will only let you focus on one full screen at once. you could however run them in windowed mode at the res of your screen and position them how you want them

    Re: Dual screen question

You can put them both windowed and have one in each screen, that works - I did it with EQ2 + Eve. In XP however you (or at least I did) get huge framerate lag on the secondary screen, where as Vista divides graphics power equally it seems...

that'd be great, even if I could do that, I thought i would be relatvely simple, but I just can't run two full screen applications on different monitors.

Is there any sort of software I can dl that'll allow me to keep focus on more than one window?

    Re: Dual screen question

I've never seen any application at all, in Windows (or any other OS come to that) where you can have focus in more than one window at the same time. Where would your keypresses be allocated to, for example?

So I don't think you can have what you want, but if you're only using a mouse then you could use the nView drivers to make whatever window you're mousing over automatically take focus. Then you might have semi-immediate control of that game...

    Re: Dual screen question

I seem to remember that nVidia drivers will allow you to create 1 large screen, this might allow you to run 2 windowed games that effectively fill each of hte screens.

    No guarantees mind
