Hi all,
I've got a problem and looking through these forums it seems that I'm in the right place.
Basically, I had a dual boot system booting to XP (primarily) and also giving me the choice to select Vista.
As Vista has become more and more supported I've found myself exclusively using Vista and so wanted to delete the XP partition and use it as free space for my files under Vista...
Therefore I bought Paragon Partition Manager, installed it on Vista and promptly formatted my "E" partition (this was called "C" when I booted under XP). It had to restart the computer to complete the format.
It got so far and then rebooted the computer again only to show a "NTLDR is missing" message?
I've searched Google and found a lot of info in recovering an NTLDR in order to get back into a XP installation but how do I change my master boot record to point exclusively at my Vista installation?
Or is it not possible and do I have to reinstall XP and just leave that partition unused?
Many thanks for any light you can shed on this
Cheers
John
