Hello
I really doubt I'll get any replies but it's worth a shot as this software is outside my realm of experience.
I have a client who's using using Mac OS X Server to host their site and tools. I'm sorting out an web based audio player for them to handle both in-house and user generated MP3 files. These files have to be checked to see if the encoded frequency is supported and if it's not, then the server will have to re-encode it.
It had been intended to use ffmpeg to do the donkey work but as they're using OS X Server, that's no longer an option. (At least I believe it's not?)
Does anyone know of a compatible, command-line equivalent?
Thanks in advance!

My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?
