Unlucky!
Just run Windows update and that should cover everything you need, unless you start running into specific issues then we can show the appropriate hotfixes.
Quite a few of the Vista hotfixes are on a 'install as needed' basis, i.e. If the issue isn't affecting you, don't install the hotfix.
Are the performance and stability packs being pushed down with auto update now?
If i had the time, i'd be tempted to image my laptop and install XP to see how it performs compaired to Vista.
But i don't, so i won't![]()
Oh you don't wanna run Vista - it'll kill your children and rape your wife.
Or it'll be just fine, like it is on quite a few of our systemsI now return you to our normal program of Vista FUD...
IF you have a problem then see The Hotfix - Vista SP1, XP SP3, IE8, Home Server, and more! - Home
It pretty much is two ways with Vista either you'll end upor
I'm on Business 64bit, got no real extra hardware in my box other then a Linksys PCI WiFI card and Vista worked straight from installation, even the WiFi card too which was suprising.
If you are having real problems in getting things such as WiFi cards to work, then try to find out their chipset number, you might be able download generic drivers which work on Vista.

If I stick my corsair usb stick in my xp partition (once booted) i get an instant BSOD.
People forget how bad the XP driver model is - especially when it comes to USB.
