    Question AV / Firewall

    Quick question....

just wondering what people would consider as the best AV / firewall package out there at the moment for Windows Vista? Or if not as a package, as seperate programs?

    Thanks!

    Tom.

    Re: AV / Firewall

I use Nod32, by far the best anti-virus i've ever used..

As for Firewall i've only really ever used the Windows Firewall.

Kapersky is one of the best.
2nd computer gigabyte P965ds3p, 7770 E2140@2.9ghz, corsair HX520 6 years stable, replaced now with E8400@3.9ghz and will overclock more when I'm bored.

    Re: AV / Firewall

NOD32 (I'd only consider Kaspersky as an alternative at the moment), and only the firewall in my router. Haven't bothered with a software one since my days of 56k (and then it was Sygate's which is now dead thanks to the Symantec ).

Any systems I set up for others I just leave the Windows one on, unless they're going to be using a router+firewall.
