Good riddance. Wish I'd done it about a year ago.

tell us more about "not working" what versions of the drivers ? what versions of vista ? why are you talking about 3d acceleration as nforce is chipset not graphics drivers ?

    Can you expand a little.

    Re: nforce2 vista drivers/modifed alternative?

bascially... my nforce2 drivers aren't compatible so i've been browsing various ways of tweaking vista to work with them (ultimate)...
the problem lies between either the pci to agp bridge or the pci to pci bridge?
because of this its disabling direct x acceleration and agp texture acceleration and I've just managed to enable direct3d...
    any ideas?

EDIT: I've just removed the drivers and restarted and its installed these Microsoft WDDM ones and i go to dxdiag and all 3 directx settings are enabled:S weird... I tried css and got 50ish fps with no bugs... which is weird seeing as not proper drivers... I'm not sure if thats the best I'll get seeing as its vista and not xp? as i used to get 75-99 before...

I have a 2gb pendrive as readyboost setup aswell. I'm not sure if this is really worth it? but it was sat doing nothing...

basiclly from what you're saying, your kit doesn't read as compatibl, and your running a much heavier os on the same hardware.

I would expect performance to reduce slightly.

    Re: nforce2 vista drivers/modifed alternative?

yeah strange thing is those wddm windows drivers seem to run games fine just the fps will take its toll seeing as its alot more stress on my hardware...
I'm happy with it though since i enabled all the directx functions.
it's been really smooth in aero and gaming seems good enough for me as I only run css occasionally and 1.6 mostly thats if i even game... cheers anyway mate.
