Is it just me, or is it a buggy, ill thought-out, cobbled together shambles of a system?

Work have decided to use sharepoint as a collaboration, information, reporting and issue tracking system, and it's been basically thrown at me to deal with...

I've only done some basic admin on it , I let code monkeys actually create stuff for it

its awesome but don't use it out the box.

To do anything proper i'd definitely want some code development.

That said i thought the document sharing was awesome when i've tested it.

I guess it's being a pain because I've been given it after someone else has already been messing about with it, without really knowing what they're doing with it..
