    Software to convert files to DVD's

    Hi anyone know of a good software package that will convert different file types such as AVI''s and MPeg4 to DVD

    can you inform me please

    DVD is a physical media format - not a file format. You can copy any file to a DVD.

    I think he meant into mpeg2 DVD video format...

    ConvertXtoDVD is probably the simplest all-in-one if that's all you need, but it's not free (still worth it mind).

    DVD Flick is free, and seems to be held in high regard, though I've never used it.

    you could prob throw it into windows movie maker and export accordingly

    you could also prob use Super though some people claim it violates codec copyright

    or mebbe some form of Nero?

    I use a paid-for prog, so just throwing options into the air

    HCEnc and DVD2SVCD (yes, it will convert .avi to DVD despite the name) are both free and do a very very good job.
