Anyone know of a decent codec pack other then the kazaa mega codec pack?
You should really avoid codec packs in their entirety. If all you want is playback of a variety of formats, install ffdshow, as it contains just the filters required for loads of audio/video formats. Either that, or use VLC as your media player which has support for all the codecs built in.
Personally, I'd use Ffdshow plus Media Player Classic.

Another MPC / ffdshow ..don't really need much else. Usually end up getting ffdshow from afterdawn or tryouts.

Don't use codec packs, you never know what is hidden in there. As an example, you don't get a lot of support from the MediaPortal forums if you have codec packs installed as they can seriously screw up your directshow filters.
As well as ffdshow, RealAlternative and QTAlternative are good things.

CCCP contains ffdshow and the necessaries without having junk in there.
