If you place you mug of tea right next to the air vent of your C2D laptop, it keeps your tea at a perfect drinking temperature much longer than normal
Never mind the advancement of science and potential saving of lives, F@H keeps tea warm!

I nearly had tea all over my work PC then...
Back tot he days when a lowly 1.4 tbird could heat a student room in wales... who said we're wasting energy? we're saving money on heating!
I've not had the heating on in my room since I've had my quad folding! It's getting a bit cold at night now, I think I'll probably get another computer in here folding rather than putting the heating on though!
I can't fold on my laptop, it reaches over 70C which scares me...

I've got a centrino 1.6 in my laptop, and would fold quite well.. but it gets uber hot for some reason... I suppose I could fold it in the freezer or something!! hehe
I'm paying for my X1950 and Mobo to complete my upgrade tomorrow, so I should have another box on weekend duties early next year.
Having two laptops and my media box all folding, along with a couple of external HDs and a N5200 NAS running in my living room really helps keep the place warm. And thats despite the lack of insulation and drafty floor boards![]()
I've took my side panel off and allowed the akasa 120 mm fans to be connected with the "macgyver" mounting I've made to fit over the CPU/memory area.
The temperature sensing and displaying fan has shown a 5 degree increase in temperature in the local area ( now at 32 degrees as opposed to 27 ) but I combat this by opening the window and allowing the wind in to cool the PC once again.
I think it's time to dig out my old ducting from the aero7 era and see if I can use it again lol

with perhaps a T7300 or T7700. Will also take the 2GB of DDR2 SODIMs comming out of my laptop in the next few days![]()
my room is still cold when this machine is folding, hooray for good cooling and a north facing window!

I use the Quad for warming my room when I work in here or when my dogs arew sleeping in here on cold nights. It has a 400 W PSU, which is not maxed out folding.
The best nicest electric oil filled rad I can get to warm the room otherwise is a 500 W Delonghi Bambino.
So Folding IS warming my housefor less money
