Quick way to convert multiple MOV files to MPEGs?

I have a lot of movie trailer MOV files and would like to change them to MEPG's. Is there a quickish and simple way that i could go about doing this? (That's free).

I think Gordian Knot could do that, available from Here. And it's a freebie.

There are guides at that site as well which you'll probably need as Gordian Knot is not immediately user friendly.

If GK no good, there's plenty of free software there that may suit.
