I need help please Sony Vaio
I own a Sony Vaio Vgn Ar11s notebook ,which operated on windows Xp. My system crashed i didnt creat any recovery disk before hand. I have a Windows XP Pro disk and also a Windows Vista Unlimited disk. I install the Vista, instead of the Xp pro there was no prob until it rebooted.
Now it is sayin a file is missing ,so i format again and tried to install XP,but now its saying that it cant find my hard drive.
Can anybody tell where I can find the recovery downloads,or how to install the raid and sata drive on my harddrive so xp can read it?
also when I press f6 my labtop isnt reading the cd-r disc nor the zip disc with the raid files.
I need help please?
Thanks in advance
Re: I need help please Sony Vaio
If you go into the bios, are the disk drives and CD drive recognised there?
Do you mean Zip disks (as in Iomega Zip disk) or a disk on which files are stored in compressed (Zip) format?
Re: I need help please Sony Vaio
remember xp will only load drivers from 3.5" floppy
also, there is no legal product called vista unlimited - there's a warez version, and frankly, if you have problems with it, tough, you sad little pirate
Re: I need help please Sony Vaio
yes they are recognised in the bois. The zip driver i have is just a little 2 gig storage zip,U3
