I've just reinstalled Vista Business after making an er...error with partitioning the other day.
Anyway - the only issue I have is installing plugins for firefox (the same would be true for any app I guess), take for example installing the Flash plugin, it installs to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins, and to write to that directory I have to run an instance of Firefox as an Administrator - which is a bit of a pain IMO.
Is there a way to temporarily elevate a process so that it is run as an administrator for a period of time to be able to write to directories in Program Files/%systemroot%/etc , so I dont have to run another instance to install a plugin?
It's a tiny problem I have, but I'm keen to know if theres a way to do it.
Thanking you![]()
