Hey all, I'm looking for a program that lists the local hardware configuration. I'm doing this for my little brother back home; we're trying to figure out his video card, specificly. I tried using Berlac Advisor on my own rig, but it doesn't tell the onboard memory of the GPU (which at this point is the main thing we haven't found out. Based on Vista's Device Manager, the card is a Radeon X1300 Series. We'd like to know exactly what model card he has and how much onboard memory is on it, and as I said, Berlac Advisor didn't tell me what on my own rig, only that I had a Geforce 8800GT. Help!
Also, a side question...his system is a year-and-a-half-old Dell XPS 410 (I think) rig; if his video card is a Radeon X1300 Series GPU, that would mean its a standalone card and it could be replaced, right? I ask because thats one of the easier upgrades to do, and is something I could talk him though over the phone, likely, if he ever wanted to upgrade down the road.
