    ATI webPAM

I recently bought Asus M3A32 mtoherboard and with the utility software on the cd comes this software, when run/open it asks for a username and password.

There is no help file or anything to tell me what it is. Ive googled it and cannot find anything, so can anyone here please tell me what this thing does/is for?

    Re: ATI webPAM

ATI webPAM seems to be something to do with the RAID controller on the motherboard... so if you're not using RAID then i'd just ignore it

    Thumbs up Re: ATI webPAM

It is a software to install onboard graphics for your PC. If you have a separate Graphic card than you can ignore this software and need not be bothered about it.

    Re: ATI webPAM

thanks for the replies, one saying its RAID controller the other saying its onboard graphics controller, regardless I dont think I will need it. uninstalled now, its on the motherboard CD anyways so can always put back on if I find a use for it, after finding out what it is

    Re: ATI webPAM

WEB PAM ATI RAID array administration utility, read inside the instalation directory the config and help files.

The NEXT-GEN data storage technology, if you are using your MB for some paralel or cluster stuff (like a render farm or sharing drive service).

If you're not using it don't install it it consumes like 150MB.
