    Media Centre software...

Hi, I have an XP Pro SP2 machine right next to my TV - This is my main rig, so I have connected the TV to my PC via s-video.

What I am after is the best application to use to play these through so that I can control it all using my streamzap remote from the sofa - I would love to install MCE, but do not have the time backing up and transferring all my files to do this.

I have heard reasonable things about Power Cinema - anyone heard otherwise?

Essentially what I am after is a media player with a nice big GUI for use on the telly!

Please let me know your recommendations!

    Thanks

    Rysz.

I got power cinema with a tv card and it was ok. Very much like MCE from what I used of it

i've been distinctly unimpressed with most "tv file browser" type apps (which is what you're after, really). i'd go as far as to say i think xbmc wins at this currently, in terms of balancing features with usefulness
