    Unhappy Toshiba Product Recovery

Having install hell atm. I just bought a new hdd. I installed it into no.1 drive bay, rebooted then checked the bios. I then reinstalled win vista with the toshiba cd. Now i find out they have aggressively partitioned my drives into 3. Have no idea which drive is which now! bastards! How do I install windows vista onto 1 drive, not touching the other one? As it was when I first used it? HD 1 250 gb (vista) HD 2 160 gb Toshiba (blank). Really want to get the bstard who feels its ingenious to partition your drives during the install!

    Re: Toshiba Product Recovery

Tbh there must be an option to fit the install onto one physical drive in the product recovery cd. If not then it's very bad fwiw. To those who have used the install there is some cryptic crap about the size of the unpack which is not explained in the manual either. Also I feel i'm down on capacity. I could always run fdisk to recover and resize everything, however there has to be a better way imo.

To explain better, here's what I did. I installed a HDD into the 1st drive bay of my satellite laptop. Then simply ran the Toshiba install. Now I've found out there might be an expert mode in the installation, but not sure how it handles 2 separate drives. What I'm trying to do is keep vista on the 1st, and Linux etc on the 2nd drive.
