Windows Xp driver problem!!:( help

Hi guys,

i have a hp pavillion dv 9605ea and i have just reinstalled windows onto it and have lost all of the drivers! but on the plus side i managed to get pretty much all of them back accept for the audio driver, i have downloaded and tried installing a driver that was recomended on a forum which i have found through google but it will not install it keeps saying "driver installation failed: could not find the device for this driver." if anyone could help me with this problem i would be very grateful!!

Have you tried running windows update? That might pick up the right driver.

have just tried running windows update and it still doesnt want to work!!! i just cant find a driver anywhere! is there anythin else i could try??

You could try installin this which suggests it can be used to pull down and update your drivers
