    *** Stack Smashing Detected ***

I am using Ubuntu 7.10, Squid Proxy, webmin to help use the proxy and SARG to read the proxy logs. The problem I am having is that I get the Stack Smashing error when trying to create a report

Google was no real help, anyone here have any info on this?

Stack-smashing protection - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

basically, your app has been linked against libssp0-dev, and would have crashed in an insecure manner (i.e. the app could be compromised) instead of showing that message

I have looked into it a bit more and it looks like a bug with SARG and Stack Smashing Protection.

    What a pain!
