Download the source RPM : http://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/n...0-0261.src.rpm
Fire up a terminal, change to the directory that you saved the file to.
Type in:
SU
<password>
rpm --rebuild NVIDIA_nforce-1.0-0261.src.rpm
Loads of info will blink before your eyes. Somwhere near the end, look for a line that says somthing like "wrote /urs/...."
change to that directory in the terminal
you'll find your built RPM file there
Type in "rpm -ivh <RPM file name>"
Go into the mandrake network config (Drakeconfig iirc ?) and set it up in there.
Tried that, it didn't work. When i did the rebuild line it failed for some reason, had lots of errors. Not sure which are relavent
YUp those sort of messages! i'll read it properly tomorrow, when i'm a bit more awake
