    Recovery Software

Hi I started a thread elsewhere that didnt get a lot of response as it may be old news or just too obscure.

But what recovery software do people get good results with? I have a partition manager problem thats given me a PqRP partition I need to recover, its an NTFS partition (or was)

    cheers

    Ontrack's easy recovery pro

IIRC it was quite expensive, but paid for itself several times over.

    Re: Recovery Software

I appreciate this is an old thread but I'm after some recovery software for cd/dvds with cyclic redundancy check errors. My usual recovery option (Easeus Data Recovery Wizard) doesn't support optical media.

    Cheers,

    Joel

    Re: Recovery Software

You might try photorec - I use it under Linux but I believe there's a Windows build.

Has done the job for me before.
