    .lnk

    Help !!!

Loads of my Win2K files (including everything on the Start/Programs bar and desktop shortcuts) have picked up a .lnk file extension, thus confusing the OS about what app to fire up.

    What is going on ????

    Cheers

.lnk is normally a link file, that points to a program.

i've lost critical associations when using obsolete versions of windows before (especially on FAT32). loosing the folder and executable associations was the worst tbh

not sure what to re-associate though :/
