Hi,
I'm looking for a firewall that will basically alert me when anything's accessing the internet and give me the choise of allowing it or denying it - so basically when something tries to get on the internet it should say "blabla.exe is trying to access the internet, Allow or Deny?" and "Tick here to use this action every time", so basically I build up my own set of firewall rules.
I don't want the firewall to have any stupid 'what it thinks is safe' list of programs, I want it to ask every time something tries to access the internet from my PC, even if it's a known Windows file.
Oh, and another important this is it must be nice and unobtrusive.
Thanks,
Craig.

I did however turn off its Defense+ feature (I do a lot of installs and such and found it annoying). However, it is a neat feature and easy to toggle on and off. The free edition of ZoneAlarm is very good too; I used it for years before I got Comodo, and I still use it on my Vista installation.
