Office 2000

just wondering - does office 2000 have one of those registery things like XP in that i have to 'check in' with micro$oft and thus free-up the software but then making it unique to this machine? or is that only for XP products?

thank god for that - wasn't going to shell out for more having had computer crash on me I lost everything, recovering losses is a pain in the *rse...

you can activate any microsoft product as many times as you like. if they give you lip, mention that their product is what failed irrecoverably so they have no right to bitch at you

activated my windows 20-odd times, my server 2003 a few times.
