Vista SP1 out should I upgrade?

OK now SP1 out and the supposed teething bugs in Vista sorted, I'm considering upgrading now, but is it worth it or do I wait for SP2 to fix SP1?

Re: Vista SP1 out should I upgrade?

I can't see any reason not to upgrade to SP1. Staying on RTM until SP2 comes out seems really pointless to me!

I upgraded my 64-bit system to SP1 and it does seem faster and probably more stable.

I'm thinking about it too, if I'm honest I can't find a good reason to move away from XP yet though.

SP1 has really helped my laptop. Feels a lot smoother and more responsive now.

Re: Vista SP1 out should I upgrade?

SP1 seemed to help my Vista installation a lot. While i still primarily use XP on my dual-boot system, at least I feel like i can actually *use* Vista now when I want. Only reason I still use XP all the time, to be honest, is because I'm used to it and its where all my games are installed.

Re: Vista SP1 out should I upgrade?

No reason not to upgrade to SP1 from RTM if you already have vista really

If your talking about upgrading from XP to Vista, thats really a financial question and will depend on your PC. If you have a PC from the past 3-4 years, and have the money to do it then definitely upgrade to Vista, otherwise you might want to wait a little until you have a PC that can really show off the improvements.
