Hi guys,
I have a problem which is driving me crazy. I don't seem to be able to delete a fair number of directories from my Start Menu. I'm using Vista (x64, Business) and logged in as Administrator. I use the 'Classic' Start Menu and when I go to the Advanced section to open the directory listing in an instance of Explorer then it refuses to let me delete a number of directories I have with a "You need permission to perform this action" error. It does the same if I right click on them in the start menu itself and choose delete. I can however open a cmd.exe window and remove them manually, it's just slow and tedious.
Any ideas? I have UAC turned off.
