how can i do?
SourceForge.net: PDFCreator
pdfcreator.
You just print to the fake 'printer' and this then creates a PDF.
I also use PDFCreator, although I saw today that Office 2007 has save to PDF built-in. An optional install or something. Sweet.
yes there where some strange licensing issues or some such, its a downloadable add-in for office:

CutePDf
Open Office will also do this as it has a built in PDF conversion button. I use it on a U3 pen drive at work and find it very handy.
pdfFactory although free versions include a fixed header/footer.

Office 2007 does indeed have a PDF maker download but the PDFs are pretty huge compared to what CutePDF can do if you "print" an Office 2007 file to the CutePDF printer.
That or OpenOffice.
Open Office PDFs are quite big - I've used PDF Factory for a couple of years and the files are often less than half the size of the Word doc. from which they're made.
The footer is quite small and doesn't encroach on to the printed area.

There are two options when creating pdfs in office 2007, one of which reduces the size significantly.
Thanks you all!
And Giraffe, I've download the PDFfactory just now, thanks, it is as easy as PDFcreator.
I tried about a dozen PDF printers; I neede one that was quick, gave small PDFs and was MAPI-compliant so that the files went to the e-mail client (Eudora). PDF Factory Pro was by far the easiest to use - no questions about names, files, locations or anything - just did the job.
