    BIOS Ugrade

Tried lookin at Toshba but when it comes to model i cant find it, i hav a P100 but then it has more model numbers after that, that i have no reference to my Model is PSPA3A-01N009 and i cant find nothing.
It is a Toshiba Satelite P100 T2300 Duo Core 1.66ghz running V1.20 System BIOS?

If we knew what you were trying to do, and why! Posting in straightforward terms is more likely to get a response than a cryptic post that leaves the reader trying to guess.

    Re: BIOS Ugrade

Oops, should re read my post shouldnt i sorry.
My question is I got 2x2gig DDR2 533MHz (PC2-5300) 200-PIN SODIMM ram modules instead of 2 x2gig DDR2 533MHz (PC2-4200) 200-PIN SODIMM by accident, they were $166 for the 2, the others are $130 each in Aus, hav had an offer of around $100 each, but the local supplier that made the error said that i could possibly upgrade my BIOS to accept them and to check with Toshiba but as i said i cant find my exact model as they are askin for model numbers in my Series, but not mine in the P100 series. I can take these back but if the cost benefits of a bios upgrade is worth it then. Any ideas of a BIOS upgrade for a Satelite P100 Model No on the back is PSPA3A 01N00P.
    Any advice would be cool.

    Re: BIOS Ugrade

I guess you found this site

    Toshiba Support - Model Selector

which didn't recognise the model number (or not the one you quoted)

However as the RAM you have been supplied with appears to be a better spec than the one you ordered, it should work OK - and a BIOS upgrade shouldn't be required. Presumably it hasn't been opened yet and you haven't tried it?

So you could do that, but make surethe supplier will accept it back if you do open it, and it doesn't work, otherwise to play safe, I'd exchange it for the correct one.
