    Another DVD Playback problem...

Well, PCs normally fine (Windows 2000 SP4, Power DVD 4.0, ATI Radeon 9000, XP2400 /oc 1700), but today when playing a DVD, about an hour through the DVD, the PC crashes - then after the reboot, you start the DVD again, and go to about the same place and it happens again. Tried uninstalling Zone Alarm, but that didn't fix it...

with this in the Application log : (about 5 of them, 2 or 3 different files) and the BSOD says this "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL".

    Anyone got any ideas?

I've got DX9.0a - and these Radeon Drivers : 6.14.10.6368, and WHQL'd sound (SB Liver 1024) and video drivers. dxdiag says everything is fine... tried another dvd, and same thing happened.

well i followed these instructions to do a complete uninstall on zone alarm :

    http://65.200.195.204/noHoldCust25/P...tallNonNT.html

and then in uninstalled power dvd and did a reinstall and it's still not working.

the dvdplay.exe that came with windows 2000 seems to work, but sometimes crashes... anyone got any ideas?

    thanks

    josh :/
