    RSVP.exe ?

Ok, so i noticed the other week that suddenly my Norton giving me an error when booting into windows. it says something like 'C: is not protected' or some other error. SO i looked this up and it seemed like a problem at first but Norton Antivirus still loads on my sys-tray and says c: is protected in there. It scans and finds no virus either and I cant find anyhting wrong. I tried what it says on some support sites but it doesnt appear to be anything at all wrong except the damn message staying there.
Anyway, last night I found RSVP.exe in my Processes in task Manager and immediatly suspicious I typed it into google. apparantly its not a virus but Symantec say it can be a low-level trojan... hmmm. Anyway I followed the instructions on removal but I get to the regedit bit and my registry doesn't show any of the malicious signs, its there but not with the parametrs shown to be bad.... so I'm very curious if anyone here has had the problem (well both problems or are they connected?)?

    :/

seen it a number of times but never had any issues with it, I must admit its one of those could be or maybe could be...its a bit of a bugger for that....

The following is a direct quote from Microsoft.
"There have been claims in various published technical articles and newsgroup postings that Windows XP always reserves 20 percent of the available bandwidth for QoS. These claims are incorrect. The information in the "Clarification about QoS in End Computers That Are Running Windows XP" section of this article correctly describes the behavior of Windows XP systems."

I'd suggest you read the entire Knowledge Base article Q316666 and decide for yourself whether you think this is needed.
