A good HardDrive monitoring program?

Hey guys,
I have recently been getting spells where I've loaded up 1 app and it seems to send my hard drive into constant read/access mode for a good 5 - 9 minutes (sometimes I have to close the app to get it to stop), even when the app has already loaded, and there is nothing else happening.

So I was wondering if anyone could point my in the direction of a good lightweight harddrive monitoring tool, which tells me what's going on, basically.

PS. No I don't have any viruses or trojan's, and my hard drive isn't fragmented (more so than it should be)

Process Monitor

I use it very regularly to check out unexplained HD accesses.
