Hi all,
I rebooted my PC sometime on Sunday afternoon and noticed that it was doing a chkdisk on my data drive
Only just remembered just now to check it out in the event logs and there's a stack of event ID 130's from that time, plus a few single ones from various dates and a whole bunch from the 4th of this month. There's one from earlier today too. Event ID 130 is described as "The file system structure on volume D: has now been repaired."
The volume in question lives on my Samsung Spinpoint 250GB SATA disk. Other than noticing the chkdisk during boot the other day I'd have had no idea that anything was (potentially) amiss. I don't remember seeing anything like this when the machine was running XP (is now Vista Home Premium x64). Could this be a Vista oddity or should I think about replacing the disk pronto?
Cheers in advance
