I belive both NOD32 and Kaspersky now have versions with firewall included?
May be a good way of adding a good antivirus to the mix.
I use a hardware firewall myself.
Personally I'm using Trend Micro's offering, I tried Kaspersky and found it to be *far* too verbose and quite complex to configure.

Works like a charm but as stated, can be git to get just right.
What about AVG Internet Security?
