Re: free cd burning software ?

If it's purely for burning audio CDs (as per the OP), I've yet to find anything as good as Burrrn, which concentrates on doing one thing and doing it well.

It'll decode practically any audio format under the sun, it's free, small, fast and simple to use. Perfect.

Personally I think the list of what ImgBurn can't do is shorter than the list of what it can do.

One of my favourite programs ever and its free!

Indeed, it's one of those burning tools that does one thing, and one thing very very well. And that's a win for me. I'm tired of all these commodity commercial software that tries to be the jack of all trades, and is master of none. Tools should be built to perform a specific purpose, do it well, and interact with other tools to perform far more complex tasks than each tool could achieve alone.

Amen to that! I've used other cd burning programs but none does the job as well and as simply/easily as Imgburn. And in such a small download!

Used to use it. Ditched it ages ago. Even when I used it I hated the interface and the bloatedness of it.

I'd also rate imgburn as a good bit of free software. Only used it a few times but it has done the job!

I use DeepBurner and ImgBurn - both seem to work a treat for me

Both free, both work on Vista (32bit, not sure about 64bit)
