    Question How do I format my C Drive on WinXP?

    Its a total noob question, but last time i tried I eneded installing windows over itself lol. Windows 98 Was so much easier. Oh how I'd love to go back

    So, any help?

    just do it from the xp installer - delete the partition, re-create it. done

    From what I remember It wasnt as easy as that! But then again I was stupid lol. I tried once tonight it didnt happen...

    highlight the partition in the list, hit d to delete, the l to confirm. then press enter in the unpartitionned space it leaves, and ask for a quick-formatted NTFS partition.

    Any disadvantages to quick formatting over full formatting?
