Hi
In XP and since time immemorial Windows Explorer allowed you to ctrl-double-click a folder to open it in a new Explorer window. This is immensely useful for drag-drop moving stuff from one folder to another.
In Vista this appears to have been broken. If you have the folders sidebar expanded, ctrl-double-clicking a folder either in the sidebar or in the main pane just opens that folder in the same window. However if you close/roll-up the folders section in the side-bar, ctrl-double-clicking works again, and a new folder is opened.
Even stranger, ctrl-clicking to select multiple folders then double-clicking one of the folders while keeping ctrl pressed down the whole time seems to produce completely inconsistent behaviour. Sometimes it'll open multiple windows each containing the view of the selected folders, other times it'll just show the last double-clicked folder.
