strange problem

ok here goes... my gf decided it would be a good idea to download a dodgy copy of zoo tycoon off of kazaa. well she installed it n decided it was rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish so she uninstalled it. now the problem is wen i try to install Halo the zoo tycoon installation screen comes up (obviously u cant install). SO how on earth do i get the halo installation screen to appear. im fed up of seeing a zoo tycoon screen! ive deleted every file associated with it and searched the regestry to delete any thing in there too. im completely stuck! help..,

can you manually run the setup file from the halo cd perhaps? rather than let it autorun and load zoo tycoon,

nah even when you double click the setup file it still louds the zoo tycoon launcher thing. its so wierd!

and its definately a halo cd in the drive... rather than a zoo tycoon one , how about try a different game, and see what happens, or clear out all your temp directories on your harddrive (c:\winnt\temp aswell as c:\documents and settings\<whoever>\local settings\temp),

yeh def the rite CD! all other games install just fine. cleaned out temp folders god knows how many times. ive spoke to some1 else who had the same prob but they could never find a fix.

are you running setup.exe from the disk, or is there a .msi file you could run instead?

running setup.exe. cant find an msi file.
