    Vista SP1

i currently have just plain old vista home premium at the moment but i know a couple of months ago SP1 came out. i know that it would take a while to filter down to all PC's but mine still hasn't got it. anyone know why. i made sure that auto downloads were on and i don't really want to manually download it.

    Re: Vista SP1

If Automatic Updates hasn't downloaded and installed it for you, have you actually checked manually to see that it is being offered to your machine?

There are some scenarios in which SP1 is not offered:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948343
Windows Vista Service Pack 1 is not available for installation from Windows Update and is not offered by Automatic Updates

    Re: Vista SP1

If you right click My Computer and go properties in the Windows edition at the top it should tell you if you have SP1 installed or not. If not then you can manually download it.

    Here for the x86 version

or here for the x64 version
