VMWare Fusion & Leopard Spaces & Multiple OS

I've just spent two whole hours trying to spread mutliple VM OS' over 4 spaces.

I've not been able to do it! Is it possible?

I can get them to run in a maximised window, but thats a bit pants, I want them full screen natively.

Im trying XP/2003 & Ubuntu over 4 spaces.
