Wi-Not Mobile : a new interesting platform for Windows Mobile
While surfing the internet in my quest for a handy Windows Mobile app, I’ve come across to a little neat one called “Wi-Not Mobile”. Judging from its name i guessed it has something to do with Wi-Fi connectivity and mobiles and i was correct on that part, but i was way beyond finding another a “new app”. As its developers emphasize, Wi-Not is actually a whole platform with the most popular mobile & pda apps to-date in a single pack. To cut the story short, here’s what Wi-Not claims to offer (copy & paste from their site):

OK, I'm a cynic
But i searched for Wi-Not Mobile and found you posted the exact same thing on Ars Technica. Strange that you signed up there today as well.

If i wanted to spam, i wouldn't be so dumb to make the account with the very same name but i would have made an account with another name. It's the most basic stuff if you want to spam, which i don't.
I just found this app and since i'm user both in ArsTechnica forums and here, like i am in a dozens other forums, i don't find any particular reason to make 100 diffrent posts that describe the same thing. Like i would copy & paste this post IF it was news from a SOURCE, i copy & paste it now but without source, cause there's no review on the app yet. So simple.
*Sigh...*

As I said, I'm a cynic :)
All those TV and radio channels do pose an interesting copyright question. I wonder where they are all coming from and the legalities of having them available to mobiles round the world.
Re: Wi-Not Mobile : a new interesting platform for Windows Mobile
Indeed, you have a point there, but as far as i know the charged channels (either by the state or companies) are not providing free streaming.......... the few channels i've checked (CNN, Bloomberg, Eurospot and Extremespots) have a public link available in their sites so, it's not illegal to watch them for free. Anyway, i'll mail them and see what they answer. I don't think they would be so "smart" to provide a platform full of pirated stream stations....
PS: The truth is that i'm not an expert on pdas (i just got an ETEN pda, hence i'm new to the forums), that's why i said i need to dig a little more on this app. :)
