Hi, have a got a new fix for sp2 tcp limit?

Hi forum posted a while back about the limit of xp's sp2, I tried the autopatcher and lvlord.de's fix but none work after checking the event viewer I still get the limit error message.
Do we have a latest fix, anyone know of one that works? Googled but still end up with the same results 2 years ago!!
    Thanks,

The setting is in the registry, dig it out, modify, reboot, done.

what did you set the limit to, 600 is a safe bet so long as you have a good anti virus !

tcpip-patcher.exe is the one i used, google it !

Re: Hi, have a got a new fix for sp2 tcp limit?

There should be other entries in the event log saying that tcpip.sys was NOT replaced by Windows File Protection. Or, alternatively, there might be an entry saying that it was replaced, in which case you'll have to disable the Windows File Protection thingymabob.

it's hard coded into the tcpip.sys file otherwise we wouldn't have to replace it
I've only got the sp3 patcher

    http://hwrms.com/blog/?p=17

But if you search for event 4226 you'll find it from that german website for sp2.
