Best messaging programe for webcam

Dad was given a Logitech Quick cam for his birthday. I've set it up but need some messaging software (or video calling software as they call it) for it. The wizard gives a choice of downloads; Skype, Windows Live messenger, Yahoo messenger, AIM, Logitech video call. I use messenger on my own PC, but I can't be bothered with the rigmarole of setting up two more MSN accounts and no nothing about the others.

Is there a really easy to set up and use program out there? Anyone had good/bad experiences? It's for the oldies so simplicity is probably the best way forward.

to be honest, it really depends who hes going to be using it with, very few people use AIM in UK, never heard of logitech video call but sounds like bloatware to me, skype needs to be signed up to but is a good app.

msn is probly the best bet IMO, its easy to use, pretty simple and everyone has it already (except your dad ) its not THAT long ot sign up to either!

any app will need a signup of some kind - how else is one client meant to be aware of another client?

Thanks chaps. The people he will be contacting use MSN. It's just that the last time I set that up for my brother's wife it caused huge problems and took ages to sort out.

It's slowly, slowly catchy monkey with these types of apps. My mum has many friends who use messenger which would be really useful to her but I think it's the setting it up and stuff that prevents her from doing it. That's what muggins (me) is for. It will be more useful for her than dad tbh.
