    Mounting a vhd file

    Hi Guys,

I have downloaded Microsoft Visual Studio Team System files.

    The WIN03_VSTS_TFS.part01 exe file
and the following ones as well in to my hard disk.

    WIN03_VSTS_TFS.part02
    WIN03_VSTS_TFS.part03
    WIN03_VSTS_TFS.part04
    WIN03_VSTS_TFS.part05
    WIN03_VSTS_TFS.part06

Iam running under Windows xp home(32 bit).
The main purpose of this download was to install and look at the "Visual Studio 2005 Team Edition for Software Testers" under the team system.

Now Iam used to running a "setup" program for installations.
After some googling ,found out that I have to mount the vhd files.

Is it possible to do it with a deamon tool.
Virtual server is not supporting Win Xp home operating system which Iam having.

Any way I downloaded virtual pc.
What are the next steps to do with virtual Pc.Iam confused.Should I have to extract all the Visual studio rar files into my hard disk.
How to use the virtual pc to mount the vhd files.

Would be nice if someone could enlighten me on this

Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    P

    Re: Mounting a vhd file

    Hi there,

    - run WIN03_VSTS_TFS.part01.exe
    - install virtualPC
    - start virtualPC, on the first run it will come up with a wizard - follow this wizard to point at the VHD extracted from WIN03_VSTS_TFS.

Bob's yer uncle and all that.

    Tata,
    MPM
