Let's say I was running a Linux distro on a VT-x/AMD-V capable processor. What level of exposure to hardware could I get on a guest OS (XP x64) in Xen?
Been reading, thought I worked it out, then got confused and work out where is giving me reliable information.

Xen can expose the CPU and some opengl acceleration. Everything else is virtualised as far as I remember.Originally Posted by Steve
Yeah from what I've read xen-hvm uses qemu and gives you certain bits of fairly generic hardware... not quite what I was hoping for.
